Law Firm Employment Associate Role Overview:
- Immediate opening in the Employment group for an associate with two to five years of experience - Position may be based in Los Angeles, Orange County, Sacramento or San Francisco offices - Responsibilities include defending employers in complex class, collective and representative actions - Also responsible for single-plaintiff wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment and retaliation lawsuits - Provide advice to employers on various employment issues - Conduct workplace investigations and trainings - Must be admitted in California and have excellent academic credentials, research, writing, and analytical skills - Ideal candidate will have employment counseling and/or litigation experience - Talented attorneys with robust litigation experience and interest in employment law are also encouraged to apply - Collegial and collaborative work environment with hands-on mentoring - Excellent advancement opportunities for associates and achievable path to partnership
Salary Information:
- Salary range for 2-5 Year Associate position at Nossaman is $175,000 to $210,000 annually - Actual compensation will depend on candidate's qualifications and experience

Nossaman, a top law firm, is currently seeking an associate with two to five years of experience to join our Employment group. This position may be based in our Los Angeles, Orange County, Sacramento or San Francisco offices. We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to assist us in defending employers in complex class, collective and representative actions, as well as single-plaintiff wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment and retaliation lawsuits. In addition, the role will involve providing advice to employers on various employment issues and conducting workplace investigations and trainings.
The ideal candidate for this role will be admitted in California and possess excellent academic credentials, research, writing, and analytical skills. While employment counseling and/or litigation experience is preferred, we also welcome talented attorneys with robust litigation experience and an interest in employment law to apply.

The salary range for the position of 2-5 Year Associate at Nossaman is $175,000 to $210,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary for this position is reasonably expected to be set within this range; however, actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the candidate’s qualifications and experience. We also have an annual billable hours expectation of 1,850, which includes up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work.
